WOW, Annie! You have really been "knocking them out of the park" lately - um, but in a very FEMININE way! : ) This article is TNT - True 'n Timely! Thank you; bless you. - Johnny, a REAL MAN (Rev.Dr. John Wade Long, Jr. - Hendersonville NC)
You are wise beyond your years, Miss Holmquist. When’s the last time any of us has heard a sermon on a Woman’s duties toward home, family, and husband? In love and humility we are all strengthened.
Amen! The apostle Paul instructed wives to respect their husbands and husbands to love their wives.....Ephesians 5:25. If all understood the heart of Paul's teaching, we would live in a much safer and more pleasant world and our children would grow up in families shaped with respect and love.
Thank you, Annie.
A side note: After more than forty years since we accepted Christ as our Lord and Savior, of late we are experiencing a very special time. Consider the impact of reading Eric Metaxas "Is Atheism Dead" while engaging in videos of "The Chosen" years 1 through 3 while also reading Annie's 'Insights'. It is truly a profound experience.
Thank you, Annie. Your article reminds me of Caroline on "Little House on the Prairie" and how she loves and supports her husband Charles and her children.
This is such a great article. Please keep reiterating this. Men need women to be feminine and soft natured in order for them to be heroic and "manly". This is not "play acting;" this is nature. Women used to understand this. Mothers used to show their daughters how to be women.
In their quest for equality women have given up their innate powers. What a loss. Because they have also lost a couple of generations of men who capitulated to the whims of women. The men gave up their innate power, too. What a tangle. Thank God there are a few real men left. And there are still some women who appreciate them. I hope these will save the species in the coming catastrophe.
