great reminder to all of us that we don't have to do "big/great/wonderful" things in the worlds eyes to make a difference...was just reminded of this yesterday on my favorite podcast, Cooper Stuff, that our country/world is not going to change for the good by electing the right people (although that is a good thing), but by one family at a time, faithfully living their lives in service to our Lord and Savior, loving their families and those God has placed around them.

"it is the simple, faithful, heartfelt acts of love and kindness that truly make a difference in this world." My pastor (@ St. Patrick Oratory, Waterbury CT) made a similar point during his homily this past Sunday at High Mass. We don't need The New Evangelization, or new programs of catechesis. Rather, we need to live outwardly as believing Catholics. That's always been the OLD evangelization. And the effect that has will be our most important legacy.
