I can’t claim to be much of a poetry buff, but upon seeing a footnote reference to a poem called “The Gods of the Copybook Headings,” I was too intrigued to ignore it.
It is a great little poem which I memorized years ago, and recite from time to time to show how far things had already come in 1920 and how Kipling already saw things happening.
