Dear Annie,
When I first accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior under the ministry of Rev. Peter Marshall late in the evening of March 3, 1980 I was so filled with Christ's love that I laughed and I wept as for the first time I really understood who Jesus is in the love of the Father and knowledge of forgiveness that felt like I would literally explode as the light of that love filled me. It is an experience which changed me forever.
I learned that evening that only the divine is perfect in the Triune fellowship of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. So long as Christ sits upon the throne of my life I experience peace and His love. Only when I endeavor to control my own being does anxiety creep in. As Paul wrote, we are to run the race marked out before us. Jesus has walked every step of the way before us and was tempted in every way as we are tempted and yet He alone is without sin, therefore He understands as we stand before the Throne of Grace. You are loved with an everlasting love. Think upon the passage, "God loves a cheerful giver." It is far broader than what we place in the offering tray.
Along the way, at one point I thought gifts of the Holy Spirit depended upon me....guess who was sitting on the throne? Finally I realized that any gift from the hand of God is for the intended recipient for whatever purpose it is intended. Often the message of the Lord's will is delivered by someone who has not the slightest clue that they are delivering something very significant.
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
What a gift of a message, reaching out to try to help others even as you are suffering. This is the proof of the trajectory of your spirit, Annie. May God continue to bless you!
Annie, i know that all your readers are grateful for your quite wonderful essays and insights. All of us love you and your work. You are a gift to all. Bob Geist

You often serve that purpose no doubt for many..
Keep up the good work, Sis.
